Please remember...
beautifulfreepictures.com
Please remember our sisters and brothers
in Japan as they deal with the aftermath of
Saturday's severe flooding...
and all those in our family
in need of support and strength
as they move through their life journey.
Thank you.
The Gifts of "Broken open..."
Beautifulfreepictures.com
I'm not sure, what it is that draws me
to this photo of tree...
The phrase that came to mind was
"Broken open".
I see visible...
fragile...
vulnerable..
at risk...
fear...
and yet I also see..
known...
real...
open...
up front...
honest...
truth...
strength...
courage....
trust...
To Break Open...
our hearts..
our lives...
our minds..
our ideas...
is "Both... And"
To be
both
Visible and Fragile
And
Known and Real....
are gifts
beyond measure.
Thank you dear Tree.
In your being
"broken open"
you have
opened my eyes
and my heart
to Gifts
beyond measure
when I am willing
to be the same!
Tell me your story...
Beautifulfreepictures.com
Our stories are etched
in our very being..
Some
we are more willing to read
than others.
I've learned over the years
that opening the pages
of the stories
I have slammed shut
can be a blessing.
It doesn't change what happened..
yet it could change
my perspective...
my understanding....
my attitude...
Regarding the experiences
and all those involved...
If....
I am willing
to
open up...
re read...
see with new eyes...
and yes,
offer forgiveness...!
a forgiveness
that frees my heart
from the pain
caused by another...
In looking at our
"closed door "
stories
I have come to see
that I know best
only my part
of the story...
I don't know
and have not wanted
to know
the real story...
or the full story...
for other participants...
Coming to know
and understand
does not
deny the pain
or take away
responsibility....
Yet
it can and does
bring freedom
and
Peace...
Thank you dear tree
for helping us
to better understand
our stories!
