In a conversation about food,
I was saying that I considered all
the creatures, plants and animals
that give their lives,
so that we are fed and nourished,
to be Sacred.
An immediate response was, "but
they are just animals, that's what they are
supposed to do...they are here
for our food."
I had a real hard time with the
response.
Is it just me?
What would you say?
